We spent two days exploring Athirappilly in monsoon in 2012, it was a true delight for all nature lovers, the place is commonly known as the land of rivers and forests, this insanely beautiful waterfall is fed from the Chalakkudy River which originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats.
The first day we saw from the top and the second day was an amazing experience from down.
Athirappilly is 72kms North-East of Kochi and the journey time takes approximately two hours.
